A lifelong Memphian, David began as the Director of Food Initiatives for CCWTN in November of 2017. David graduated Magna Cum Laude from Christian Brothers University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology and completed his Masters of Business Administration at Christian Brothers in 2014. During graduate school, David joined the Shelby County Sherriff’s Office working in the Patrol Unit and as a Detective in the Homeland Security Unit. During his time in Law Enforcement, David traveled overseas to live on the Mediterranean island of Malta, studying humanitarian assistance during the height of the Mediterranean Migration Crisis. In 2016, he graduated with a Masters in Mediterranean Security from the University of Malta and a Masters in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University. Shortly thereafter, David moved to Virginia and worked as an Intelligence Officer at the Pentagon. Though he thoroughly enjoyed his time in Law Enforcement and Intelligence, David felt an increasingly stronger call to directly serve the poor and was thrilled to begin his nonprofit career in at Catholic Charities.
David enjoys spending time with his four brothers, attending any and every concert he can, and traveling to the tiniest nooks of the world.
