A native Memphian, Rachel joined the staff of CCWTN in the summer of 2017 and now serves as the Manager of Community Support Services for the agency. Rachel graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. She went on to obtain her Master of Arts in History before moving back home to Memphis. A lifelong learner, Rachel went back to obtain her teaching license and Master of Arts in Teaching from Christian Brothers University in the fall of 2014. She has worked with the Diocese in the Jubilee Catholic Schools Network prior to making the move to Catholic Charities. Rachel is a certified trainer in Transition to Success™ and holds a certificate in Catholic Social Doctrine for Professionals from the Catholic University of America and the Vatican Foundation, Centesimus Annus Pro Pontifice (CAPP). She is also a Diocesan Director for Catholic Relief Services for the Diocese of Memphis.
Rachel loves everything about living in Memphis and loves to talk about the great things going on in the city. She especially likes to convince anyone who will listen that Memphis has the best basketball team (Go Grizz!) and the best barbecue of any place in the world.
