Therese is a past chair of both the Catholic Charities USA national Leadership Team for Parish Social Ministry, and the Our Lady Queen of Peace Retreat Center Board. Currently she is a member of the Bridging the Gap Collaborative to provide strategies that increase self-sufficiency (Assisi Foundation), and also the Driving the Dream Design Team, developing a groundbreaking initiative to address generational poverty in Memphis and the Mid-South (a new strategic direction of the United Way of the MId-South). She is a certified trainer in Bridges Out of Poverty™, Getting Ahead™, and Transition to Success™.
A move to Memphis in 2004 brought Therese a career shift from the corporate world to ministry. She joined CCWTN in September 2010 as the Director of Parish Social Ministry, after serving at the Church of the Holy Spirit for 7 years. Previously Therese was a licensed long term care administrator, practicing primarily in assisted living, skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities. She is a graduate of the School of Aging Studies at the University of South Florida.
Therese and her husband Chuck have two adult children: Mary and Alan. They are happy grandparents of Abigail Grace and Mary Elizabeth.
