Volunteers are very important to us! We could not fulfill our mission without them! We have volunteer opportunties for everyone- individuals, families, corporations, groups and schools!  

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Food Pantry and Clothing Closet: Please see calendar below to sign up to serve our food pantry guests or workin the Clothing Closet.
  • Intrepreter: Assist recent arrivals to the U.S. by serving as an interpeter in our Immigration Services Program. We especially need people who are fluent in Spanish, Swahili and Kinyarwanda.
  • VOLUNTEER SATURDAY, Dec. 15: Our December Volunteer Saturday is so much fun!  We will be assembling gift bags for children we are assisting through Gifts for God's Children from items donated to this holiday program.

If you sign up to volunteer through our volunteer calendar, please come  to the front desk at our offices at 1325 Jefferson Ave., a few minutes before your volunteer shift is scheduled to begin. You will sign in as a volunteer, meet the volunteer coordinator and then report to your volunteer station.
